STRENGTH FOR THE WEEK
You button me together on Monday morning,
slash my Tuesday debts with forgiveness,
wash the pompous mask off Wednesday’s face
and by Thursday You strap my confidence
to Your saving grace.

My relationship with God is new everyday. That is what inspired this poem. I had a particularly difficult weekend but having His strength in my weakness made me get through the rough spots. Hope is a potent healer.
